Application Process

Searching for a welcoming community in Columbus? Look no further than The Villages at Fort Moore. We’re one of the only rental communities in the area, offering comfortable homes at a stellar value to people from all walks of life.

Fort Moore is now accepting applications from Other Eligible Tenants, including retirees, DoD, Federal employees, and connected civilians.

Once we receive your application, supporting documents, and application fee, we will run a credit and rental background check. When we have verified your information and you have been approved, a leasing agent will contact you to discuss availability and place you on our waitlist.

How to Apply in the Future

Applying to live at The Villages at Fort Mooe is seamless. Please note there is a $50 application fee for anyone living in the home over the age of 18 and must complete their own application.

When you are ready to apply:

• Gather the following supporting documents:
  • Proof of income (DD214, LES, pay stub, retirement statement, or VA letter)
  • Copy of your driver’s license
  • We accept personal or cashier’s checks and money orders made out to The Villages at Fort Moore.
  • The application is not complete without the payment of the application fee. This fee covers the Army’s background check, and upon approval, you will be put on the waitlist.
